I am still surprised how the power of these personal stories can resonate with an audience. While the projects bring us together for a short period of time, the impact of these stories remains with us.<\/p>\n<p>Here are examples from some of those projects. They include our work with community groups, ESL students, media &amp; communication classes and faculty workshops.\u00a0 In the spirit of not being the person in the story circle who takes a pass, I&#8217;ve included a story of my own that was created during our first workshop with Story Center at UMBC in 2006.
