UMBC<\/em><\/h3>\n<blockquote><p>Every year, UMBC students work on a variety of media production projects on campus and in the surrounding communities of the\u00a0 Baltimore area &#8211; but this has been an unusual semester.\u00a0 The need to move instruction online on short-notice presented unexpected challenges for students, many of whom lacked the resources needed to complete their planned assignments remotely.\u00a0 As an alternative project, all students were given the opportunity to create a digital story based on the Digital Decameron&#8217;s theme &#8220;what gives me strength.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Here we present some of the stories created this semester by students in Television Production and Intercultural Communication.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"epyt-gallery
