Beginning in 2007 the New Media Studio has offered faculty workshops in digital storytelling. Initially these were facilitated by the <\/span>Center for Digital Storytelling (now storycenter.org .)<\/a>\u00a0In 2008 ten participants in a “Train the Trainers” experience received intensive training in the creative and technical aspects of teaching digital storytelling in a variety of contexts. Ten additional participants had an opportunity to create stories during a two-day mini workshop aided by their own “personal trainer.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Since 2009 the workshop has continued as a peer-to-peer experience with previous participants returning to work with colleagues in building a vibrant community of practice. Here are some examples of the stories produced through the workshop:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
