Every year, UMBC students work on a variety of media production projects on campus and in the surrounding communities of the Baltimore area – but this has been an unusual semester. The need to move instruction online on short-notice presented unexpected challenges for students, many of whom lacked the resources needed to complete their planned assignments remotely. As an alternative project, all students were given the opportunity to create a digital story based on the Digital Decameron’s theme “what gives me strength.”
